The United Methodist Church of Estes Park encourages book groups and discussions around them. The Brown Bag Book Buddies meet approximately once a quarter to discuss books around the theme of the environment. Their sessions are generally on Tuesdays around the noon hour with sack lunches brought from home.

The United Methodist Church of Estes Park maintains a library for members and non-members to check out books for a month or more. The collection of approximately 2000 items ranges from fiction, non-fiction, biographies, videos, CDs, and reference materials.

The majority of the collection has a Christian emphasis, but secular and world religions are represented as well. There is a card catalog to assist you with your hunt for the perfect book or the librarian, Connie Dedon (970-586-4078), will be glad to lend a helping hand.

The check-out procedures is simple. All you need to do is place your phone number on the book card, place the card in a file, and enjoy the book or DVD at home.

The library is open anytime the Church is open. We encourage you to stop by and browse. The library, with both children and adult books, is located at the west end of Fellowship Hall on the first floor.

There are no fines if you want to keep the book longer. You are in charge. This is your library!

For more information you may contact Connie Dedon, the Adult Librarian,
or Linda Strandberg, the Children's Librarian.
